I have a not spayed female spaniel A little over a year old. I got her when she was eight weeks and used the crate training method for potty training. I have two other dogs that are fixed male and female that I used the same potty training method and they have worked just fine for them. The problem is if any bedroom door is left open she will go Pee or poop on the bed no matter if she just got walked. She is on a feeding schedule they get walked 2 to 3 hours apart 5 to 6 times a day on long walks. If she’s left in the living room or the kitchen with all bedroom door shut she will not use the bathroom only if the doors left open and then she’ll go use it on the beds. I have tried re-teaching her with the crate putting her back in and it has not fix the problem. I feel like this is a behavior issue maybe a Dominus thing I never had a unfixed female before. She does poop and Pee on the leash on the walks but anytime a doors is left open she wants to go use it on a bed. I have even tried keeping her with me all day to keep her from using the bathroom on a bed but any chance she gets she will sneak off and use the bathroom on the bed. It doesn’t matter who’s bed it is the doors left open there’s a bed in the room she’ll poop and Pee on it. She does not do this on any other furniture rugs carpets just beds.
